PCS General Membership Meeting & X-Mas Party

The Philippine Caving Society held its 5th Annual General Membership Meeting together with its Christmas Party last December 7, 2007 at Forbes Park, Makati City, Metro-Manila. It was unanimously decided by the general membership that the current Executive Committee shall continue to serve for 2008: Bobby Manas - President; Milton Adamson - Vice President; Nicky Lacson - Treasurer; Mike Nera - Secretary; & Ohmar Picache - Board Member. All executive Committee members shall renew their individual membership with NSS and support PCS cave conservation projects.
Continued and further interest in training for Basic & Advanced SRT were expressed so a training worshop will have to be organized and facilitated and needless to say, more caving trips in the future. The new PCS website was projected on a big screen which led to some members contributing personal photos from previous caving trips.
PCS heartily welcomes its newest members: Joel "the gecko"as associate regular member, and Mabel Burgaud as family associate member. PCS would also like to thank Pebbles Lacson for her sumptous mexican burritos, Mabel Burgaud for her wonderful pasta bolanese, and to all other members who brought food, wine, and beer making the annual fellowship memorable and a tradition to look forward to. And much appreciation to Ohmar Picache for his giveaway chopsticks and his pledge to provide Adv. SRT training. And last but not least, many thanks to Milton Adamson & Philipp Adamson for hosting and providing venue.

Photos of the party are now posted in the "Gallery".
